The Junior Yellow Greens became the first Nigerian side to qualify for any cricket World Cup. They made it by virtue of a 35-run win in the ICC Under-19 World Cup Qualifier Africa Division Two against Tanzania, at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom, South Africa.
